For Single Women Only was created for one purpose: to provide a space where single women, like you, could learn to do two things simultaneously: pray for a spouse but also enjoy your singleness season to the fullest!

This is a place to vent or read about others’ struggles and triumphs. An avenue where you can learn to spread your wings and fly now when you have all the freedom in the world to do so. And a space to find some much-needed encouragement for those days when you’re tired of waiting and all you want to do is throw in the towel and quit.

Lies we believe…

All too often the world will have you believing that 1) God will not provide for you and 2) being a single woman is the worst thing ever! Voices — both inward and outward — may have you believing that you are inadequate, not good enough, or unworthy and will either a) never find your person, or b) never be happy if you are not in a romantic relationship. What they neglect to tell you is that if you’re unhappy as a single woman, you will NEVER be happy in a relationship!

The Truth?

Don’t get it twisted. It is completely normal to pray for and even seek out relationships. But a relationship will not “fix your life” or “make you happy.” You have to take the time to do that for yourself now so that when God provides the right man for you that man is adding to the happiness you already have.

Be Free

Remember, there are other things you can be doing right now to enjoy life, maximize your time, and enjoy the one period in your life where you can actually focus primarily on you! Sis, I hope this site will serve as a helpful reminder so that you don’t miss out on the right now while focusing on the not yet. You can do it ALL: be content, pray to God and trust His timing for a spouse, while also living your life to the fullest!
